Emergency first aid in the workplace

This certificated course meets the requirements of the new First Aid regulations.

Course content:

• Incident Management
• Management of an unconcious casualty
• Resuscitation
• Management of amajor bleed
• Management of angina, heart attack and stroke

This is a practical course and at the end of it attendees will be able to demonstrate checking for a response, how to open an airway, and check for normal breathing, recognise cardiac arrest and be able to deliver CPR to current guidelines. Indentifying various forms of bleeding and a management of bleeding with a practical aplication of skills learned by students is also part of the course.
