  • The Learning Curve - Learning Consortium for the South West the organises workforce & organisational development for the voluntary and community sector.
  • ViSTA A valued resource for the Voluntary and Community Sector (VCS) in Somerset providing workforce development programmes, infrastructure services and hosting partnerships delivering education and training.
  • Somerset Voluntary Sector Network - a county-wide organisation, committed to supporting and strengthening the Voluntary and Community Sector (VCS) in Somerset.
  • South West Forum - The regional voice for voluntary and community organisations.

Public Sector Regional Organisations :

  • SW RDA - South West of England Regional Development Agency - Guided by the Regional Economic Strategy 2006-2015, the SW RDA leads the development of a sustainable economy in the South West, investing to unlock the region's business potential.

  • Bath & NE Somerset Council for Voluntary Service - A support service for all voluntary and community sector organisations in Bath and North East Somerset. B&NES CVS is a project developed by CVS North Wiltshire.
  • Bridge House Community Trust (formerly Voluntary Action West Wiltshire) - an umbrella organisation which supports the local voluntary and community sector in West Wiltshire.
  • CVS Avon Training - CSV Avon Training actively promotes social inclusion and urban regeneration by increasing access to learning and employment. We have an ‘open door’ policy, believing that everyone deserves the opportunity to realise his or her potential.
  • East Cornwall CVS - an independent organisation with charitable status and a company limited by guarantee. The organisation was formerly known as Community Projects Trust SW Ltd, originally established in 1988.
  • CVS North Wiltshire - A registered charity supporting voluntary action in North Wiltshire. We support, inform, develop and represent local voluntary and community organisations.
  • Exeter CVS - an independent local development agency that has been at the heart of the voluntary and community sector in the city since 1947.
  • Gloucester Association for Voluntary and Community Action (GAVCA) - GAVCA is a local development agency supporting voluntary and community groups in Gloucester and Cheltenham. It also has a countywide role.
  • Gloucestershire Rural Community Council - GRCC enables sustainable community development and empowers community groups not only through its project work but also through its team of district based rural advisers who offer general advice and support to rural communities on community and parish planning, funding, capacity building, project development and management.
  • South Hams CVS - exists to help local voluntary organisations, community groups and charities to flourish. We offer advice and information on a wealth of topics, including funding, volunteers, the law and management. We help local groups to work together and we support them as they grow. We also encourage and enable a voice for the local voluntary sector.
  • Taunton Deane Council for Voluntary Service - a voluntary and community local infrastructure organisation providing the full range of developmental, capacity building and support functions to improve the effectiveness and sustainability of voluntary and community organisations working within the Taunton Deane area.
  • Teignbridge CVS - Teignbridge CVS was established in 1991 and provides information, support and advice to voluntary and community groups working in Teignbridge.
  • Torbay Advice Network - a strategic grouping formed in 2005 responsible for developing and implementing Torbay's Advice Strategy.
  • Torbay Community Online - a central Communication Network for Voluntary and Community groups and other interested parties in Torbay. Torcom is funded by the Government's ChangeUp programme, managed locally by Torbay's ChangeUp Consortium which consists of representatives from Voluntary and Community infrastructure organisations.
