Training is more vital during a recession

It would appear that even this early in the curriculum year there are fewer people engaging in learning.  This is seen in the lack of candidates signing up for courses across the region.  Organisations need to recognise that training and development are even more important for the diversity of skills and the morale of the workforce during tough times.
